You have to rent a car in Northwest Argentina | Cinematic Drone Video

During our six months in South America we traveled to the Northwest of Argentina to explore the colorful valleys, taste the wine and to show you the best things to do in Salta, Cachi, Cafayate and Purmamarca.

They best way to explore this region is to rent a car. This gives you a lot of freedom, we rented the car for 5 days which was enough time to explore the area. Driving from Salta to Cachi you will go through the National Park Los Cardones, here you will find thousands of large cactusses which can grow up to 8 meters. The route 68 will lead you through a beautifull valley with green vegetation and red rock formations. From Cachi you follow the route 40 to Cafayate, where we also visited the Ruins of Quilmes. Cafayate is known for its scenic wineries and the red rocks formations, the Quebrada de las Conchas. The Hill of Seven colors in Purmamarca can be found at the Quebrada de Humahuaca and last but not least we show you around in one of the most beautiful cities of Argentina: Salta.

We rented our car from Atlas Rental car. Our Chevrolet Classic was brand new and the service from the company was great! We even got our money back for 1 day when we decided to bring the car back 1 day early. https://www.atlasrentacar.net/en/
