Since 1995, Wilderness Awareness School’s Summer Camps have provided exciting nature and survival adventures for kids and teens ages 4-18. Students work together in small groups gaining nature awareness and experiential knowledge of survival skills, plants, mammals, birds, and wildlife tracking.
Though we are sometimes known as offering a nature camp or survival camp for kids, we believe there is much more that we offer to each student. Through storytelling and engaging nature activities, inspiring lessons are carefully woven into each of our camps. Students’ connection to the earth is nurtured, and skills are built that serve them for a lifetime!
Our Summer Camps offer Nature Adventures for kids and teens in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Carnation, and Olympia, WA. We have expanded our schedule this year to accommodate the overwhelming demand for these camps!
Since 1995, our Teenager Summer Camps and Overnight Camps have given students exciting camping experiences while learning in-depth skills of survival and nature awareness.
Our Overnight Survival Camps are filled with outdoor adventures and surrounded by the beauty and comfort of a private base camp in the forested foothills of the Cascade Mountains.
Overnight Camps are for all experience levels, and are guaranteed to be the highlight of a summer!
