Jump is a story of love and death. Max leaves his toys on the roof and runs off to get some more. When he comes back, one toy is lying on the ground, three flours from where he left it. What happened is probably what happens every time we take our eyes off these play things for five minutes.

Jump was conceptualized, written and directed by Ras Mengesha, with the awesome assistance of his brother (the unfortunately nick-named) Max Prime. With a lot of idle time and a gaping hole in the Kenyan stop-motion industry (and with no intention of filling it)), the two set out to create Jump under One Day Project Films, their organization by which they seek to create short films in one day.

The two have also made the unofficial video to Just A Band’s, Stay.
